Do I need a fishing license? No. Because I am a Captain, my charter license allows you to fish legally on my boat.
Can I bring my children? Yes, children at least four years old would be able to enjoy the boat. If your children are younger, I would consider them on wildlife and dolphin cruises. Infants are not allowed, however, for safety purposes. You also need to bring life jackets for children younger than six.
Can we arrange a different time other than those listed on the scheduling page? Yes, I can usually accommodate a different time, the best thing to do is call 843-323-2709 if you have a special request
Can we keep what we catch? Absolutely—as long as the fish are the legal size and species (set by the SC Dept. of Natural Resources—read here for the specifics http://www.dnr.sc.gov/regs/pdf/saltwaterfishing.pdf), the fish you catch are yours!
What do I need to bring? Typically, sunscreen and snacks are the most needed items. I supply a cooler with ice to keep everything cold, so no need to bring an extra cooler—I have plenty of room for you!
Is alcohol allowed? Yes.
Is there a bathroom on board? No, however, if an emergency arises, I can easily pull into a marina where bathrooms are accessible.
